„Special Lithuania. We are traveling around Lithuanian protected areas” is the third updated edition of the book. This tourist-guide is for both younger and older readers, for everyone, who wants to get to know and discover the most beautiful places in Lithuania: reserves, national and regional parks. This is the most valuable nature of our country.

The book presents the attractions of 5 national parks, 30 regional parks and 6 reserves with route markers, maps, GPS coordinates and brief descriptions of each object. The park's website is provided with a QR code, which you can scan for even more information.

Recently, many heritage objects, such as mounds, outcrops, springs, trees, have been newly arranged in national and regional parks; moreover, there are visitor centers with unique exhibitions. Observation towers provide excellent opportunities to enjoy the landscape. New educational trails lead through forests, swamps, along riverbanks and lakes. Information stands and arrows help to get acquainted with the place of interest.

This book is a guide that allows you to travel along undiscovered trails, to prepare for interesting leisure time, discovering and exploring protected areas, their nature and other values.
